Providing Hot Delivered Meals
About Us
WAMM is a small non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to serving the elderly, convalescing, and disabled members of the greater Wausau Area. We deliver approximately 27,000 meals annually. We deliver a hot nutritious meal Monday thru Friday to those in the greater Wausau Area who are elderly, homebound, disabled, or recovering from a hospital stay.

Our Mission
We are dedicated to serving the greater Wausau Area with hot meals delivered to the home.
As stated by Feeding America, 'In 2019, 5.2 million seniors aged 60+ faced hunger. That's 1 in 14 seniors or 7.1% of all seniors. 63% of seniors visiting food banks say they have to choose between food and medical care.' Our goal at Wausau Area Mobile Meals is to alleviate the costs of meals, allowing seniors not to choose between food and other expenses.
Executive Director
Nicole Riggs joined Wausau Area Mobile Meals as Executive Director in January 2026. She brings a background in nonprofit work, including experience in higher education fundraising, and a strong connection to the local community.
A graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point’s Arts Management program, Nicole has been involved in nonprofit efforts throughout the area and values building relationships across the community. She enjoys meeting new people and believes in the importance of small, everyday moments that can brighten someone’s day.
In her role, Nicole focuses on supporting volunteers, strengthening daily operations, and ensuring that neighbors who rely on meal delivery can continue to live safely and independently at home. She leads with a hands-on approach and is always willing to step in and help where needed.

Lower Meal Costs With A Donation
Without the generosity of our donors, we would have to raise our meals prices significantly, thereby reducing the number of people receiving meals.

Wausau Area Mobile Meals would be very greatful if you were to donate any amount of your time.
Become A Driver
